Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Exercise Physiology Services

Helping veterans improve strength, mobility, and independence.

At Greater Health, we are proud to support Australia’s veterans through fully funded Exercise Physiology services under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) program. We understand the unique physical and mental challenges faced by veterans and provide care that is respectful, evidence-based, and focused on achieving real results.

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) work with you to improve mobility, reduce pain, build confidence, and maintain independence—whether you prefer sessions in-home, via telehealth, or at our Dandenong consulting office.

Who We Support:

Types of Services

We offer flexible delivery to ensure accessibility and comfort for every client:

In-Home Consultations

For clients with mobility or travel limitations, our Accredited Exercise Physiologists bring all the expertise and guidance directly to your home. We adapt exercises to your available space and equipment, ensuring safe and effective sessions in the comfort of your own environment.

Telehealth Sessions

For veterans who prefer remote support or live in rural/regional areas, we offer secure video consultations. These sessions include guided exercises, education, progress monitoring, and ongoing adjustments to your program—without the need to travel.

Dandenong Consulting Office

Our fully equipped clinic provides a safe, private, and professional environment for in-person care. Ideal for those who prefer hands-on guidance, access to equipment, and face-to-face interaction with their Exercise Physiologist.

Community-Based Programs

For veterans who enjoy social connection and community engagement, we offer programs delivered in local gyms, community centres, or rehabilitation facilities. These sessions provide access to specialised equipment and the motivation of exercising in a supportive group environment while still receiving one-on-one professional guidance.
