Transport Accident Commission (TCA)
TAC-Funded Exercise Physiology
If you’ve been injured in a transport accident, the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) may cover your exercise physiology sessions in full. Our team is here to support your recovery, help you manage pain, and get you back to doing the things you love.

How TAC Funding Works?
Understanding TAC Funding
Understanding TAC Funding
If your accident happened less than 90 days ago and you have an approved TAC claim number:
- You can start exercise physiology without extra paperwork.
- TAC will pay for your sessions as long as your GP or specialist recommends them.
After 90 Days or Returning Later
If it’s been more than 90 days since your accident, or it’s been over 6 months since your last TAC session:
- TAC needs to approve more sessions before you continue.
- To do this, we’ll see you for an initial assessment and then prepare a short plan (called an AHTRP) for TAC.
- TAC reviews that plan and will let us know how many sessions they’ll fund.
